Hate crimes are still very prominent in today’s world, seems like everyone hates on someone else for being different. You’d expect hate crimes to occur in the South, however one of the most pettiest cases I’ve heard of happened in the North Eastern state of Connecticut on a campus for higher education making this case as ironic as possible.
In college, students are typically assigned a roommate and not everyone gets along with their roommate, but sometimes one roommates reasoning for their hatred to their roommate is downright evil and rooted in racism.
At the University of Hartford, former student, Brianna Brochu bragged about poisoning her black roommate, Jazzy Rowe, in many different malicious ways with some of them so evil that they can be classified as attempted murder. Brochu did things like rub her blood stained tampons on Rowe’s backpack, pouring moldy clam dip in her face lotion, spitting in her coconut oil, and putting her toothbrush in places the sun doesn’t shine like her rectum. Now this may sound like heaven for ass eaters and extremely kinky people, however the criminal isn’t very attractive and could have multiple diseases that she could have given her roommate.
Local police confirmed to The Tab last night that they arrested Brochu and charged her with criminal mischief, breach of peace and intimidation based on bigotry. She is currently out on bail and according to Lieutenant Michael D. Perruccio of the West Hartford Police Department, he will be requesting the court to add the charge of 53a-181k which is “intimidation based on bigotry or bias” to Ms. Broch’s case.
